Gary began his higher education journey by enrolling at New York University, where he took courses in art and science. However, due to financial limitations, he could only attend for one year. Refusing to be deterred, Gary later earned a Bachelor of Business and a Juris Doctor from Southwest International University, both completed.

Gary Sze Kong’s entrepreneurial success story began with real estate, but his ventures soon expanded into other industries. In 2013, Gary became one of the first Chinese immigrants to establish his vineyard in the U.S., founding the highly regarded “The 1 Wine (www.the1wine.com), and on Facebook.com” which received a prestigious 92-point rating from renowned wine critic James Suckling.
Classic New York Beer,” a brand known for its innovative and natural flavors, such as “Spicy,” made from ingredients like garlic, hot peppers, and ginger. His commitment to excellence and creativity is evident across his business ventures.
Gary is also the proud founder of Wausau Water ( www.wasawater.com), a water bottling line based in Wausau, Wisconsin. His company produces its brand, Wausau Water, and offers white-label manufacturing opportunities, further expanding his business footprint.

He actively supports causes such as the Vajra Dharma King Peace Foundation, working alongside the First Lady of Mongolia to advocate for women’s equal rights. Gary Sze Kong, in his continued dedication to philanthropy and community service, is the founder of the Global Hero Foundation a U.S.-based nonprofit organization, in Flushing, New York, the foundation has been active since receiving its IRS ruling in 2019. Under Gary’s leadership, the Global Hero Foundation is involved in local community-focused events, such as sponsoring Flushing’s Carnation Day Parade, contributing to the vibrancy of the local culture. Gary’s vision for the foundation reflects his lifelong commitment to giving back and supporting charitable activities in the communities where he has built his legacy. For the last 5 years, the Flushing Carnation Day Parade (2024) continues to bring together New York City.
